SG Fusion is a brand new affordable concept from Gibson USA, a stripped down, bare bones variant of the beloved classic. It comes in at $599, which is only $200 less than the regular SG Faded featured in the Traditional range.
SG Fusion is available in a multitude of color options, all of them solid and combined with chrome hardware and black plastics (some do feature white and gray pickguards). The body of this budget-friendly SG is made entirely of mahogany (C-grade wood is used) and is paired with a slim taper maple neck (with mortise and tenon joint). 22-fret rosewood fingerboard rocks dot inlays, 1.695" tektoid nut and 24-3/4" scale.
Main hardware and electronics options include a one-piece wraparound bridge, mini tuners and DS-C pickups.
