Usually, SGs come with flat top bodies, that`s the way the original SG was conceived. SG was supposed to battle Fender`s models on their own ground, with only limited use of traditional Gibson features. Through years, several models had top wood covers and carved tops, but SG remained a flat-top guitar. This time Gibson introduces SG Diablo Ltd, a model with elegantly contoured top. Body of this model is solid, double-cut and still made only of mahogany. Bullion Gold with high gloss finish is the only color option available for this SG. It is matched with gold-plated hardware. Pickups are Burstbucker Pro 2 in bridge and Burstbucker Pro 1 in the neck position. Set in mahogany neck on this model is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
