Pete Townshend is one of the most influential guitar players in the history of rock music and doesn`t really need an introduction. Throughout his long and successful career, Pete has played numerous guitars, but he is mostly linked with Les Pauls. Thus Gibson decided to make several signature models for him. One of them is Pete Townshend LP Deluxe #3. It comes with a solid, single cut body made of mahogany base and plain maple top. Creme binding, glossy finish and plastic white pickguard decorate the body of this signature LP. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with a stoptail bar in the back. In the front, Gibson installs a pair of minibuckers and DiMarzio Dual Tone in the middle. Set maple neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
