Music City Jr. with B-Bender by Gibson
Antique Natural

Music City Jr with B-Bender is a successful result of the mix of two pretty different worlds. On one side, there`s Gibson`s traditional construction rooted deeply into blues, rock and jazz music and on the other Jr brings Nashville heritage with B-Bender system, tappable P-90 pickups and brighter tone. Junior starts off as a solid, single-cut guitar with Les Paul contours. Jr badge means it`s pretty much stripped down and performance-oriented. Nashville side of the family donates the ash wood as body material, thus replacing the Gibson`s mahogany. Top is bound in creme and covered with tortoise shell pickguard. Gloss finish is applied over the antique natural color scheme. It is the only option in the palette. Bridge is a hardtail and it`s plated in chrome. P-90 pickups installed on this model can be tapped with a push-pull knob located on the tone knob. Thus, Jr can reach the characteristic twang. One more special feature is the B-Bender system, which allows the player to alter the pitch of the B string by pulling the strap lock on the back of the guitar. Set neck joint is Gibson`s tradition and Nashville side of the family nominates maple as neck material. On top, there`s a 22-fret fingerboard made of maple.
