Limited Run ES-Les Paul Cobra Burst (2015) by Gibson
Cobra Burst

Limited Run models make up a half of twenty eight models introduced into the Gibson Memphis lineup for 2015, which is the largest number among the major brands. All of the limited models come with some special construction or design features, or are simply dedicated to a special period (or even a year) of Gibson`s history. Limited Run ES-Les Paul Cobra Burst is a regular 2015 ES Les Paul guitar, but with Cobra Burst color scheme to visually set it apart from its semi-hollow siblings. Figured maple top with maple/poplar/maple back and sides is decorated with creme binding around both the back and top, dual "f" holes and a white plastic pickguard. On its top, there`s a standard two-piece bridge unit with an AVR-2 bridge in the front and a locking stoptail bar in the back. Pair of active MHS humbuckers sits in the front and guarantees the perfect marriage of classic LP and ES tone. Mahogany neck is fit with a C profile in the back and is reinforced with a vintage sixties truss rod. Rod is thicker, features teflon coating, and is stronger and more durable than its contemporary counterparts. One-piece rosewood neck features rolled binding, low profile frets with trapezoid inlays and 1.70" wide bone nut. Vintage Kluson tuners on the headstock wrap up the specs list.
