Les Paul Studio 2013 Left Handed by Gibson
Wine Red

Common man`s Les Paul is now back and more versatile than ever before. It is updated, refreshed and strengthened for 2013. Gibson`s luthiers and designers have put a lot of thought and effort into the improvements for this year`s Studio. Still a no-nonsense guitar and a true work horse, Les Paul Studio brings novelties such as coil splitting, optional robotic tuners and optional gold-plated hardware. Modern mahogany body is topped with a carved maple cap, a standard known from the previous incarnations of the Studio. Traditionally, there is no binding around the top. All color and hardware options available for the right-handed model are also available for the left-handed variant. They are all finished in nitrocellulose high gloss. Bridge section of this LP is a regular one, made up by the Tonepros tune-o-matic bridge in the front with stoptail bar in the back. Both are plated in chrome. In front of the bridge Gibson installs a pair of Modern Classic humbuckers. These buckers are active and strong enough to give support for any genre player chooses to play. Furthermore, they can be split into single coils through push/pull switches mounted onto control pots. Controls unit is a traditional one, featuring separate volume and tone knobs with a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck is slim and super fast, it features '60s Slim Taper contour, which is still one of the finest in the industry. Neck is made of quarter-sawn mahogany and it`s finished in nitrocellulose gloss. Upon the neck, granadillo fingerboard is installed. It features 22 standard-sized frets, acrylic trapezoid inlays, 12" radius and 1-11/16" wide string nut. Headstock comes equipped with a set of six regular tuning machines as the standard appointment. Optionally, Gibson offers a set of robotic Min-ETune tuners.
