Les Paul Signature T Left Handed is a Les Paul series model made for the upcoming 2013 edition of Gibson catalog. It represents a bridge between the past and present, as it features the perfect mix of vintage and modern appointments. Carefully designed and made, Signature T is an elegant, versatile and high quality guitar in every respect. It`s body is made of wight relieved mahogany back and carved flame maple top. This construction is proven as one of the most popular ever when it comes to Les Paul guitars. Top panel features creme binding and it`s also equipped with nitrocellulose gloss finish. Five color options are appointed to this model: Wine Red, Vintage Sunburst, Alpine White Burst, Gold Top and Translucent Ebony. All are finished in high gloss. In the bridge section, Gibson advances with tested and tried forces under the Tonepros helm. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with a stoptail bar. They are plated in chrome. It wasn`t easy to choose pickups for the model which is supposed to be a bridge between the yesterday and today, so Gibson opted to go with open-coiled '57 Classics in both the bridge and neck positions. Separate volume and tone knobs, push/pull switches for coil splitting and three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Vintage tone of the pickups is versified with modern coil-splitting system, thus breathing a new life into Signature T`s sound. Neck on this model is made of mahogany, a standard and tested option for Les Paul. This time around, it features '60s slim taper contour on the back side. Fingerboard upon the neck is made of dark granadillo and it features 22 medium jumbo frets, figured acrylic trapezoid inlays, 12" radius and 1-11/16" corian nut. Standard tuning machines can be replaced with robotic tuners for minimal charge.
