Joan Jett is one of the greatest female icons of rock music with career spanning over four decades. Throughout her career she has fronted several bands and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts was the most successful one. Joan is usually a singer/guitarist in her band lineups and she predominantly plays Gibsons. Her signature line with Gibson extends to the Melody maker series and Joan Jett Signature Melody Maker model. It is a simple Les Paul guitar with solid mahogany body and set in mahogany neck. Body of this model is available only in Worn White with satin finish. Bridge section is made up of a wrap around bridge and in it`s front Gibson installs a zebra-coiled humbucker. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

This guitar sounds awesome and plays very well. The smaller size is perfect for smaller hands and it is relatively light. It is durable and I enjoy playing it.
