Firebird VII is one of the most luxurious Firebirds ever made. It features supremely elegant design and premium quality construction. Firebird VII also has a pack of three humbuckers installed on top of the body. These humbuckers come in minibucker form and are covered with gold-plated covers. Controls unit includes two tone knobs, two volume knobs and one three-way toggle pickup switch. Behind them, there`s a tune-o-matic bridge with vibrato bar and trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Entire bridge section is plated in gold. Red Metallic and Blue Mist are color schemes chosen by Gibson for this model. Body of Firebird VII is made of mahogany and it`s paired with a mahogany neck. On top of the neck, there`s a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
