One piece mahogany body without a relief is the base for this badass LP, and it features a 7A quilt maple top (there`s also the 5A quilt top option). This is a limited edition model and it is available exclusively in R40 Ruby finish. As all of the Axcess models before it, the R40 comes with a Floyd Rose bridge instead of the classic tune-o-matic/stoptail bridge. Pickups featured on this one are the same as on the Les Paul Custom Figured (also a 2015 model) - 498T in the bridge and 496R in the neck. One-piece mahogany neck is attached to the body via the mortise & tenon joint and features a 22-fret Indian rosewood fingerboard on top. The MSRP is set at $6,699.
