After the initial success of the original 1952 Les Paul Goldtop, Junior, Custom, and Special models ensued. The Custom was the flagship model, while the Junior served as beginner option. Special`s role was to fill the big gap between the Goldtop and Junior. Les Paul Special Double Cut (Limited Run) has no such role, as its price tag of $3,999 makes it more expensive than any Gibson USA`s Les Paul model in current production. This double-cut is there who want a top-shelf rendition of a classic Les Paul. TV Yellow, TV White, and TV Black Gold options are available. Key features include a flat-top mahogany body, solid mahogany neck w/slim C profile, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, 50`s wraparound bridge, P-90 pickups, and Kluson Deluxe tuners.
