Back in the 1950s Gibson introduced Les Paul with affordable price tag and stripped down looks, it was named Junior and it was intended as an entry level Gibson. However, fate had something else in store for this gorgeous little junior, it became a very popular guitar due to it`s raw and powerful tone. It managed to survive to this day through various incarnations and it`s still going strong. This particular Junior comes with a solid, flat, single cut body made of mahogany. There`s no binding, no top wood. Bridge section is a one-piece, it has stoptail bar without a tune-o-matic bridge in the front. One P-90 pickup is installed in the bridge position. Set mahogany neck features '50s contour and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
