Corona models in Fret King`s catalog represent a salute to the most iconic double cutaway guitar ever, one and only Stratocaster. But, they are much more than mere replicas or look-alike guitars, they are exclusive models with their own tone and appeal. Corona 80 is a top-of-the-line Corona and it comes with an alder body. On order, Fret King makes Green Label Coronas with swamp ash bodies. Neck is a C-contoured maple neck with a bolt-on joint. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 22 frets, self-lubricating Wilkaloid string nut and dot position inlays. Pickup combo consists of three Fret King pickups in H/S/H configuration. The bridge is a Wilkinson VSV, a high performance vintage-styled tremolo. The MSRP starts around $2,800.
