Fret King`s Corona models are based on the age-old Stratocaster concept. Coupled with Wilkinson/Fret King electronics and hardware, as well as distinctive styling, Corona models aim at players aim primarily at blues and rock players. Black Label Corona JV John Verity is one of several signature models based on the Black Label`s Corona guitar. It comes with a flat-top alder body and bolt-on maple neck. The body`s topped with a classic Corona pickguard, while the neck rocks a 22-fret fingerboard on its top. The fingerboard features medium jumbo frets, 1.67" graphite nut and abalone inlays. Three WVS60 single-coil pickups have that hot vintage blues/rock tone. Other major features include a non-locking tremolo bridge, die-cast tuners and gold-plated hardware.
