Brazilian rosewood is one of the exclusive woods due to it`s fantastic tonal properties, as well as beauty. Used mostly for limited editions or high-end guitars, Brazilian rosewood is a guarantee of superb tone. Mayfield Custom Brazil Rosewood is a double cutaway semi-acoustic model from Framus, it`s one of the finest models in their catalog. Top and back of the body are made of laminated Brazilian rosewood, while the sides are solid. Tune-o-matic bridge with a stoptail and black TUSQ string nut lay on the borders of 24-3/4" scale and along with Sperzel tuners provide rock solid stability. Seymour Duncan humbuckers are accompanied with split volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle switch. 22 jumbo frets and dot inlays complete the tigerstripe ebony fingerboard.
