There are models produced in Germany, Framus Vintage made in Korea and Framus Artist Series also made in Korea. has a long tradition of semi-hollow bodied guitars and the newest Vintage models from Korea continue it in the best way. 5/120 Billy Lorento Jazz Guitar is a magnificent instrument, it comes with a single cutaway semi-hollow body made of laminated spruce top and laminated flamed maple back and sides. Binding is rich and it is found on both the top and back of the guitar. There is also a white plastic pickguard on the top. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a set-in joint. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 21 nickel silver frets and block position inlays. In the pickups area, Framus provides a pair of single coil pickups. One for the bridge and one for the neck position. They are controlled through a simple layout of master volume, bass and treble knobs. In addition to that pickup switch is a three-way toggle. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood and accompanied by a beautifully crafted trapezoid tailpiece. Other features include 24-3/4" scale, chrome hardware and high polish finish.
