Vortex Scimitar is a no-nonsense twelve-string V (probably the only serially produced V with twelve strings) made for Melechesh`s guitarist Ashmedi. This is the beast behind Melechesh`s ubiquitous tone. Ladies and gentlemen, we present you the magnificent Vortex Scimitar.
It has been said and proven countless times that the best things are simple. Such is the case with the notorious Scimitar. It comes with a plain black V body made of mahogany wings and through-body maple neck. The neck is fast despite its width (1,875" wide at the nut to accommodate twelve strings properly). 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with block inlays is on its top.
EMG`s iconic 81 in the bridge alone provides an insane amount of firepower for even the most extreme metal tasks (lower string tuning also adds more beef). BR-12 bridge and die-cast tuners make sure all twelve strings stay in perfect tune.
