Vertigo is one of the most important series in Fernandes catalog. It is a line of solid-bodied guitars with an original and unorthodox shape, a true under dog guitar. There are several tiers of Vertigo models. It all starts with basic Vertigo X, then come Deluxe and Elite and at the very top, there`s supreme Elite JP variant. All models are solid-bodies six-stringers with unique personalities and targeted population of players. Vertigo X is the basic model of the series and it comes with a familiar Vertigo standard body made of alder. There is no binding, no pickguard or top wood veneer installed on this variant of Vertigo. Plain, simple and oriented towards performance. Bridg section features a combo made up of tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar. Pickups installed on this model are Fernandes high output passive humbuckers. Configuration is H/H. controls for these pickups consist of master volume and master tone with a three-way toggle as the pickup switch. Neck is made of maple and it`s bolted to the body. On top of the maple neck, Fernandes installs a 22 jumbo-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. It comes with white dot inlays, 16" radius and 1.63" wide string nut. Tuning machines on the headstock are die-cast and plated in black chrome.
