Vertigo is one of the most distinctive shapes in Fernandes catalog. It comes somewhere between Firebird, Jaguar and other similar models made after LP, SG Tele and Strat. Known as a "heavyweight champion", Vertigo got the Elite JP update along with many others and is ready for season 2012. Vertigo Elite JP has a solid body made of mahogany. Due to it`s unique body design, Vertigo features an unbound flat top with a huge black pickguard spanning from the upper cutaway across to the lower side of the bridge. Dark army green, metallic black satin and snow white are color options chosen for this model. As for the bridge department, there sits a Gotoh licensed Floyd Rose tremolo with a locking nut. Pickup combo is made up of an active EMG81 humbucker in the bridge and a Fernandes Sustainer in the neck position. They are controlled through three-way toggle pickup switch, master volume, master tone and Sustainer on/off and mode switches. The neck is made of maple and features a set-in joint. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 22 jumbo sized frets and pearl trapezoid inlays. 14" radius, 1.625" nut width and 24-3/4" scale represent the basic measurements of this model.
