Monterey JP STD is an affordable guitar, perfect for those who are starting out or need a practice guitar. Passive electronics, inexpensive tonewoods and the renowned Fernandes craftsmanship make up for an interesting guitar.
Monterey JP STD comes with a single-cut basswood body offered in three color options - TV Yellow (actually a standard yellow), Crimson Red and the staple Black. All variants feature gloss finish and black chrome hardware. The neck is made of maple and it is bolted to the body. On its top, there is a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (1-5/8" composite nut, 14" radius, dot inlays).
A pair of Japan High Output humbuckers is found in the pickups section. A standard two-piece bridge unit and die-cast Gotoh tuners complete the list of major features.
