Road Worn series is there for the players who like to see the wear and tear on their guitars, who are not ashamed of the dings, bumps and patches of worn paint on their axes. Models of this vintage-oriented range offer the historical accuracy and the wear and tear of the decades of persistent playing at a fraction of the cost of the Custom Shop models with relic and heavy relic treatments. For 2015, Fender has refreshed the series roster with a couple of `60s models and the Road Worn `60s Jaguar is the full name of one of them. It comes with a classic Jag body made of high quality alder. Offset body of this gorgeous short-scale (24" scale) is offered only in Candy Apple Red with nitrocellulose finish and the classic white pickguard on top. Adjust-o-matic bridge and floating tremolo tailpiece are teamed up once again in the bridge section. American Vintage `65 single-coils fill both the bridge and neck position slots, guaranteeing the true `60s Jag tone. Standard set of controls, knobs and switches follows them. Maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (the standard feature, despite the short scale). To wrap things up in style, Fender has opted for a set of vintage-styled tuning machines.
