Jazzmaster is one of the models which shaped the history of Fender Guitars and the history of guitar world, as well. It`s iconic shape strikes a certain chord even today, more than fifty years after it`s introduction at 1958 NAMM Show. Over the course of the years numerous variants and models were named Jazzmaster and were played by some of the most significant guitar players of all time. Today, in 2012 Fender Custom Shop pays homage to legendary Cabronita models. This one comes with a classic Jazzmaster shaped body made of selected lightweight ash and wrapped in seducing black color with nitrocellulose gloss finish. Aged hardware complements the worn and played in styling of this Cabronita. Bridge is a vintage styled synchronized tremolo with string-through construction. In the pickups department a pair of PowerTron humbuckers is installed. They are controlled through master volume knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck is made of maple and it is equipped with a large C contour in the back. It is also finished in nitrocellulose lacquer in the back. Fingerboard is made of maple and it comes with 21 medium jumbo frets, black dot inlays, 9.50" radius and 1.65" wide string nut. The MSRP for Limited Edition Relic La Cabronita 2 Pickup Boracha Jazzmaster is set at $6,200.
