Fender`s 10 for `15 Limited Edition series is envisioned as a line of ten tradition-fueled models which would take the players on a journey through time and Fender`s more than rich history. The first model in the lineup is the Limited Edition `70s hardtail Stratocaster, a seductive six-string fit with the finest 1970s features. Only five hundred of these will be made (every subsequent model will also be made in five hundred copies), so there`s no need to accentuate the exclusivity. Solid and double-cut alder body with 1970s measures, bolted maple neck with the classic C profile, a hardtail bridge, American Vintage `70s Strat single-coil pickups with the standard controls unit (including the five-position switch), 22-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlays, and sealed tuners on a large `70s headstock are featured on this model.
