Jim Root is one of the biggest guitar heroes of the younger generation, known for both his work with Slipknot and Stone Sour. His Fender/Squier signature series started off with a Stratocaster model but expanded to Telecaster and Jazzmaster models over time. Jim Root Jazzmaster is Jim`s only signature Jazzmaster model. It comes with a simple electronics unit - EMG`s 81/60 humbuckers with brushed aluminum covers, master volume pot, and a three-way pickup switch. Major construction features include a solid mahogany body, contoured bolt-on neck joint, and modern hardware. Black is the only available color option. Other notable features include a C-shaped maple neck, a 21-fret fingerboard with compound radius (12"-16"), a hardtail string-thru bridge, 25-1/2" scale, and locking tuners.
