Telecaster is one of the main models and corner-stones of the Fender catalog and, as such, it is found in a vast majority of series. Highway One series brings a completely modern Tele perfectly equipped for fluent communication in modern dialects of blues and rock. It comes with a modern, solid and single cut body made of alder. On it`s top Fender installs a modern variant of the age old Tele bridge with the tray upfront. Now it has six saddles, very similar to hardtail Strat bridges. Pickups come with S/S configuration. Controls for these pickups consist of master volume, master tone and three-position blade switch. Maple neck on this model is equipped with C contour, bolt-on joint and 22-fret fingerboard made of either maple, or rosewood.

The telecaster guitar is a simple guitar with one tone knob. I love the vintage style 3 saddle bridge (though i just installed brass saddles...best $15 mod on a tele), the nitro finish is cool- not glossy, and will wear VERY easily....but a "cool" wear. Very high quality neck with massive frets (if you like that), great looking nitro finish, great electronics with the greasebucket circuitry (though i dont see what the fuss is about with it). seems like great bang for your buck for a tele that won't dissapoint or have a mexican/squier label on it. I think it looks and sounds great, but I really dont care for the stock bridge pickup. Great guitar compared to the mexicanos and squier tele's ive played.
