Eric Johnson is one of the best ambassadors of his majesty, the Stratocaster. And is also one of the most distinguished artists with Fender Stratocaster signature model. His Strat is a vintage-styled guitar, it has 1957 Strat contour and it`s made of two pieces of alder. American vintage synchronized tremolo bridge with string-through construction is used on this model. It has nickel plating and six adjustable saddles. Special wound pickups are installed on this Strat and they come in S/S/S configuration. Neck is made of maple, it has a soft V contour, which was used in 1950s and it`s bolted to the body with a four-bolt joint. Fingerboard is made of maple and it features 21 medium jumbo frets with black dot inlays.
