1972 Telecaster models were something special, it`s when Telecaster got fatter pickups, bigger tone and came closer to Les Paul. Today, Fender makes a tribute to that Tele with Classic '72 Telecaster Deluxe. It comes with a solid alder body with single cutaway. Body is flat, unbound and without a top wood cover. Bridge a hardtail. It comes with six adjustable saddles, chrome plating and string-through construction. Fender`s wide range active humbuckers are installed in front of the bridge. They are controlled through a set of separate volume and tone knobs with a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck on this model is made of a single piece of maple, it features C contour, bolt on joint and gloss finish. Maple fingerboard on it`s top is equipped with 21 medium jumbo frets with black dot inlays.
