Fender Blacktop Telecaster Baritone Review

New and bold Telecaster with three pickups and 27" scale breaks grounds for Telecaster family of models. This low tuned long scale beast is a solid bodied single cutaway model with a body made of alder. This flat top features no binding around the top and is available in ghost silver and classic copper color options with polyester gloss finish. Classic black Tele shaped pickguard is featured on this model. The bridge is a hardtail with six separate saddles and a string-through construction. The bridge is plated in chrome. Pickup combo on this baritone consists of a bridge humbucker, middle single coil and neck single coil. All of the pickups are made especially for the blacktop series. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and a five position blade switch. The neck on Blacktop Tele Baritone is a c shaped maple neck with a bolt-on joint and a urethane finish. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 22 medium jumbo frets with aged white dot position inlays. The fingerboard radius measures at 9.50" and the synthetic bone nut is 1.65 inches wide. The scale length is a baritone standard 27". Fender tuning machines, skirted amp knobs and Fender strings complete the spec. This model is featured at Fender exhibition at this year`s NAMM Show.
