American Vintage series deals with historically accurate replicas and reissue models of famous Fender guitars from the past decades. Majority of the models salute the 1950s and 1960s guitars, but '70 Stratocaster Reissue is all about the 1970s and Strats produced in that decade. This model features a solid, double cut body made of alder and it`s paired with a maple neck. Body is topped with a classic Stratocaster plastic pickguard and vintage synchronized tremolo bridge. Bridge has six adjustable saddles and it`s plated in chrome. Vintage Style single coil pickups are installed in front of the bridge. They are controlled with a classic Strat controls unit. Maple neck is equipped with C contour, bolt-on joint and gloss finish. 21-fret fingerboard is made of both maple and rosewood for this model.
