American Standard Strat is the best measure by which to measure a Stratocaster. Years pass, but American Standard Strat remains the best reference to position other Strats. This current incarnation comes with a contemporary double cut body made of alder. It deatures contoured back and flat top, which is covered only with a plastic pickguard. Black, Three tone Sunburst, Olympic White and Blizzard Pearl are color schemes available for this model. All come with glossy finish. Bridge is a two-point synchronized tremolo with string-through-body construction. Fender`s American Strat pickups are installed in front of the bridge. All three are passive and single-coil. Maple neck`s C contoured, bolted to the body and topped with a 22-fret fingerboard. Fingerboard comes in two variants, rosewood and maple.

My neck is not a good one, I will be having warranty work done to remedy this, as it has a lifetime warranty. That aside, the finish is superb, the 3 color sunburst look is beautiful, and the quality of materials is top notch... And even with the neck having a bit of a twist, it plays good!
