Though very similar in body design and appearance to Jazzmaster, Jaguar is a beast in its own league and a completely separate guitar model. The short-scale axe was introduced back in 1962, some 56 years ago. It`s been on the roster ever since its inception. Fender`s lineup at NAMM 2018 brings us only one new Jaguar, the gorgeous American Original `60s Jaguar. The color palette includes Surf Green, Candy Apple Red, and 3-Color Sunburst. Main construction features include a solid and flat alder body (lacquer finish, tortoise pickguard, no binding), a maple neck (60s C profile, gloss finish), a rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, dot inlays, 9.5" radius, the short 24:" scale, the standard 1.65" nut), a floating tremolo bridge, Pure Vintage series single-coil pickups, and Fender tuners.
