American Deluxe series is the finest the regular side of the Fender catalog has to offer and in order to remain ahead of the ever harder competition, Fender introduces a very special update for 2015. Full name of the new king of the Stratocaster domain is American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker. Of course, only the finest tonewoods, hardware and electronics are used for this six-string royalty, but this time the spotlights are unanimously fixed on the magnificent new bridge humbucker, or as its officially called - Shawbucker. Zebra-coiled Shawbucker was created by Tim Shaw especially for the top models of the 2015 Fender lineup. It delivers the definitive Stratocaster humbucker tone, both modern and classic, with supreme definition and clarity. Pair of noiseless Strat single-coils in the bridge and neck positions completes the pickups section, providing the sparkling Strat tone we all love and cherish. Select alder body features the contemporary Strat contour and is paired with a bolt-on maple neck with C profile in the back. Modern 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with six saddles sits on the top, behind the classic Strat pickguard and three-piece pickup unit. As it is a standard in both Fender and Squier catalogs, this luxurious Strat comes with both the maple and rosewood fingerboard options (both are fit with 22 medium jumbo frets). Sealed in-line tuners on the modern Strat headstock wrap the specs list.
