Fender`s Select series qualifies among the finest series on the market and is most certainly one of the finest in Fender`s catalog. This series offers electric guitars and basses made with additional care for details and visual appearance, while still not sacrificing the tiniest bit of playability and tone. For 2013 Fender updates this series with six new models, five guitars and one bass. One of those guitars is also 1013 Select Telecaster HH, which comes equipped with a pair of powerful Wide Range active humbuckers. These bad boys can pull off anything from soft clean melodies to scorching overdriven solos. And everything in between. They are controlled with Telecaster`s standard controls unit. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch are installed. Bridge section features a hardtail bridge with string-through-body construction and chrome plating. Body of this model is made of chambered alder base with Malaysian blackwood top. Top panel is bound in several layers of binding and it has a beautiful contour. Neck is made of maple and it`s bolted to the body. It features C contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Frets are marked with black dots.
