This model is the same as the '66 Stratocaster Closet Classic model, with only major differences being the different color palette and the level of wear and ageing. Closet classics are envisioned as very well preserved guitars, while the relics have seen some serious action over the years. '66 Stratocaster Relic from the famous Time Machine series is a solid alder guitar with maple neck and vintage-styled tone. Body of this Relic Strat is flat on top and covered with a classic white pickguard. Pickup covers and knobs are also made of white plastic. Bridge is the standard synchronized tremolo with string-through construction. Pickups have vintage '60s tone and are installed in the classic S/S/S pattern. 21-fret maple fingerboard is fit on top of the maple neck.
