Custom Deluxe models from Fender Custom Shop are the top of the line models. For example, this Telecaster is the most luxurious Tele with Fender badge (excluding some special and limited edition models, as well as the anniversary Teles). This one comes with a solid and single-cut body made of alder (alder is the main body wood in Fender catalog since 1956, when it replaced the swamp ash). Custom Shop offers a big and wide palette of color options for this model. Eight of them have maple fingerboards and six come with rosewood fingerboards. Bridge section on this model combines the features of the standard hardtail (saddles) and the classic Tele bridge (front plate). Pickups come in the standard S/S configuration. Bolt-on maple neck is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard.
