Viper is, together with EC, M and H, one of the backbone series of LTD catalog. It features double-cut, solid bodied guitars styled in the vein of legendary SG. Almost symmetrical short horns, offset waist and beveled top are some of the classic Viper design points. Viper-256 deviates slightly from the series metal orientation and reaches for the classic 60s styling, as well as tone. The body of this vintage snake is made entirely of mahogany and clad into See Thru Black Cherry outfit (w/glossy finish, black plastics and nickel hardware). The neck is made of mahogany, as well; three-piece construction, Thin U profile in the back and a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard on top. ESP Designed humbuckers, two-piece bridge unit and LTD tuners complete the specs list.
