ESP`s USA Shop is made up of master luthiers and deals only with custom creations often available in extremely small batches. Hand-picked tonewoods, exclusive hardware, and top-of-the-line electronics go into these works of art. This means ESP USA models remain firmly out of reach of a majority of working musicians. TE-II Hardtail Koa (Limited Edition) is one of three exotic wood models introduced in the second half of 2017. Like its M-series brethren, TE-II is available in a batch of 25 guitars. It is slightly more expensive (it costs $3,699, compared to $3,299 for M models). Core construction features include a solid African okume body w/koa top (and walnut layer in between), quarter-sawn maple neck, 22-fret ebony fingerboard, string-thru hardtail bridge, Seymour Duncan pickups, and Sperzel tuners.
