Dark Brown Sunburst
TE series takes inspiration from the classic Telecaster concept and adds some of the hallmark ESP characteristics. The end result is a Telecaster-like guitar with a thoroughbred metal tone, thin neck and ESP styling. Thus far, all of the TE models have resided within the LTD range. The tradition continues in 2016, with a trio of new models. TE-401FM is one of them. It is a solid and single-cut warhorse with active electronics, set-thru neck construction, full 25-1/2" scale and mixed LTD/Grover hardware. Dark Brown Sunburst is the only color option available.
TE-401FM has a simple and straight-forward chassis, made up of a mahogany body with a flamed maple top and a three-piece maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard on top. Maple top is made of matching halves and features white binding around the edges. Fingerboard, on the other side, has a set of 24 XJ frets, 1.65" molded nut, offset dot inlays and 13.77" radius.
EMG`s 81 and 60 fill the bridge and neck positions, respectively. 81`s signature growl is perfectly matched with the singing leads of the mighty 60, making up for a well rounded and versatile metal tone. One volume, one tone and a three-position switch comprise the controls. String-through hardtail bridge and Grover tuners complete the specs.
