What happens when Telecaster meets high output humbucker pickups, super thin necks, 24-fret fingerboards and dark styling? ESP/LTD TE series happens. TE is a line which puts classic Tele design in blender with classic ESP features, with surprisingly good outcomes. Both six and seven-stringed models have turned out far better than anyone expected, turning the grandad of all guitars electric into a proper metal axe. TE-200 Rosewood is a new 2016 model, it rocks passive stock electronics (ESP Designed), LTD-branded hardware, 25-1/2" scale and a 24-fret fingerboard. Snow White and Tobacco Sunburst versions are currently found in the color palette. TE-200 Rosewood kicks off with a bit unusual base for an LTD 200 guitar - it has an all-mahogany body (basswood and ash are the standards for 200 guitars) and a U-shaped neck. Three-piece neck is has a rosewood fingerboard (with 24XJ frets) on its top. 1.65" molded nut, offset dot inlays and 13.77" radius are found on this standard issue fingerboard. ESP Designed LH-150 humbuckers are the only 200 tier humbuckers and thus they`re found on TE-200 Rosewood, as well. One volume, one tone and a three-position switch follow them (they`re installed in a classic Tele fashion). String-through hardtail bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
