Stephen Carpenter of alt-metal legends Deftones is a life-long fan of ESP guitars and a long-time endorser. His signature line is made up of LTD and ESP segments, with both sporting multiple models. T7B is one of the latest additions, along with the affordable 607B. STEF T7B starts off with a Tele-shaped body, through-body neck and 27"-scaled fingerboard. The body is made of alder wings and maple center. Three-piece maple neck runs through the center of the body, providing unparalleled sustain and stability. It features Thin U profile in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top (XJ frets, 12" radius, white binding). Major electronics and hardware appointments include active Fishman humbuckers in a tight formation, string-through-body TOM bridge and locking Sperzel tuners.
