ST-203 Rosewood is the only 203 model in the current lineup. It is pretty much the same model as the other alder-based six-stringers in the lineup. ST-203 Rosewood comes with a solid and double-cut alder body and a bolt-on maple neck. That is the combo that made Stratocaster, Telecaster and Fender what they are today and is, along with mahogany/mahogany, basswood/maple and mahogany/maple, one of the most used combos ever in electric guitar industry. Strong and piercing bright tone with pronounced mids and highs is what characterizes this combination. Alder adds the thickness and the low end into the mix. ST-203 Rosewood is a solid and double-cut guitar with a standard tremolo bridge on the top and passive electronics. Three LTD LS-120single-coil pickups are featured on this one. They`re arranged in the classic Strat pattern and even have the matching pickguard surrounding them. Vol/Tone/Tone set of knobs and a five-position blade switch comprise the controls unit of this beautiful six-stringer. Maple neck has the standard bolt-on joint and rocks the Thin U contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
