Mighty and glorious V-407B is the pride of the baritone segment ESP revamped for 2015. It is a majestic V with an iconic design and simple construction. Everything on this beast is subject to one paragon goal - the ultimate metal tone. That is the reason for the elongated 27" scale, that is the reason for the vicious EMG pickups and super stable set-through neck joint. Aerodynamic V body is made of mahogany back and plain maple top with beveled edges. Neck is also made of maple, which provides a powerful, punching tone with all the warmth and low end of mahogany and clear, defined delivery of maple. Glossy black body paint, black hardware and black headstock decal are contrasted by white binding around the neck and white lightning inlays on the fingerboard. Tune-o-matic bridge is alone in the bridge section (string-through-body construction) with a pair of ferocious EMGs in front of it. 81-7 is in the bridge, while the 707 is in the neck position. U-shaped maple neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 24 extra jumbo frets, regular molded string nut (1.89") and 13.77" radius. Grover tuners are installed in 4+3 arrangement on the vintage headstock.
