Children of Bodom is one of the premier representatives of extreme metal scene today. Their unique blend of death metal, harsh vocal delivery, melodic Maiden-like passages and thrashy riffing has brought this Finnish quintet world-wide fame. Roope Latvala is the rhythm/occasional lead guitarist in the band and his signature models are, just like Alexi Laiho`s, made by ESP. LTD side of Roope`s signature series is fit with LTD RL-600 model. It is a solid and single-cut ML-based (looks a lot like Dean ML) guitar. Alder-made wings are glued onto the maple neck to form the body of this outstanding six-stringer. EMG-HZ F-H2 passive humbucker is installed in the bridge position. Maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
