LTD Max Cavalera EX is the top Explorer-shaped model in Max`s signature series. The line is currently made up of six models and only two of them have Explorer bodies. This one comes with a characteristic Urban Camouflage color scheme with high gloss finish. Max is often seen onstage with camo-painted guitars. Body beneath the paint is solid, flat and made of mahogany. Standard 24-3/4" scale is featured on this model, which is unusual for guitars with lowered tuning. Bridge section is a two-piece, made up of tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar. In cooperation with Gotoh tuners on the headstock, it keeps the tuning in perfect check. It`s fronted by a Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucker. Set maple neck on this EX is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard.
