EC series offers a wide range of single-cut guitars with Les Paul-like design. Styling, materials and tone of these models is classic ESP, sharp, aggressive and reliable. LTD EC model is solid, single-cut and made of mahogany. Both the body and neck are made of mahogany, creating a firm ground for ubiquitously ferocious tone of the EMGs installed on the top. 81 is in it`s standard bridge position and the neck position is fit with the 60, instead of 85. This was done in order to give a hot, soaring tone in the neck position. Master volume, two tone knobs and the three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the simple, yet effective controls unit. Mahogany neck is fast, slim and supremely comfortable. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard completes the specs.
