Alexi Laiho is one of the premier guitar players from the new generation of metal bands from Scandinavia. Besides the rhythm and lead guitar duties, he is also the lead vocalist of his band - Children of Bodom. His masterful playing and huge popularity and influence have granted Alexi a line of signature models with ESP. It is opened with a Rhoads V-shaped guitar named the Scythe. It is made of alder and it`s flat on top. White with black stripes and gloss finish is the only color scheme for this model. Bridge is a double-locking Floyd Rose system. There`s only one pickup on this model, it is the EMG HZ-F H2 in the bridge position. U-contoured maple neck runs through the body and it sports a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top.
