KH-DC LTD is an LTD variant of KH-DC model released to celebrate 25 years of Kirk Hammett being an ESP player. Majority of the appointments are the same, but some hardware options are exclusive to KH-DC. Basic look is almost identical, with biggest difference being displayed on headstocks with different logos. KH-DC LTD, being based upon the EC series models, follows their line, but has a double, instead of a single cutaway. Mahogany back and flamed maple top are still here. The top is carved and bound in creme. As for colors, see thru black cherry remains as the only option. The bridge is a Tonepros tune-o-matic with a stoptail bar. Both of them are plated in gold. EMG81/60 pickup combo with golden covers drives the tone of this model, as well. With master tone, split volume knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch, the player can regulate and manipulate the pickups with ease. Mahogany neck on this LTD is made of mahogany and equipped with a thin U contour and set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and it features 22 extra jumbo sized frets with flag position inlays and 1.65" wide string nut. ESP locking tuners and 25-1/2" scale finish the list of specs.
