Horizon NT-II has received some new color options and looks wicked for 2012. Passive pickups, 24 frets and neck-through construction guarantee for a shredding delight. This is one of many novelties from ESP for this year. It was, along with other new guitars, exhibited at NAMM this year. Horizon NT-II 2012 starts off with a solid, double cutaway body made of mahogany back and quilted maple top. This carved top model features white binding, but there are no pickguards. Reindeer blue, black aqua, see thru black cherry, see thru black and dark brown sunburst are available color options for this model. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with string-through-body construction. On dark brown sunburst and black aqua, hardware is plated in chrome, and on the rest of the options it is black nickel. Pickups are Seymour Duncans, JB humbucker in the bridge and '59 humbucker in the neck position. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch make up the controls department. The neck is made of maple and equipped with thin U contour and neck-through-body construction. Ebony fingerboard boasts 24 extra jumbo sized frets with offset rectangle inlays and 1.65" wide nut. Gotoh tuners and 25-1/2" scale complete the specs for this model.
