H-208 belongs to LTD`s H series, which is a part of the ESP Horizon family. The role of the H section is to provide high quality at entry, lower intermediate and intermediate levels. Top models (1000 tier) are full-fledged professional instruments.
H-208 belongs to the 200 tier and is one of the most affordable eight-stringers around. It is imagined as "the second guitar", both a replacement for the beginner instrument and a backup for a pricier one. The chassis is made up of a basswood body (both back and top), maple neck (three-piece construction, U profile) and rosewood fingerboard (24 XJ frets, thumbnail inlays, 2.12" nut, 25-1/2" scale).
Hardware and electronics features include a string-thru hardtail bridge, ESP Designed pickups and LTD tuners.
