Glenn Tipton is widely regarded as one of the best heavy metal guitarists in the world, both in rhythm and lead sections. His career, which now spans over four decades, is filled with some of the most epic and memorable riffs and leads ever to grace rock and metal records. In 2016, Mr. Tipton is joining forces with ESP for a new signature series. First in line is a high-quality LTD model named GT-600. GT-600 comes with a familiar SG-shaped body (known as Viper in ESP and LTD catalogs) made of mahogany and a deep-set maple neck. Beveled body is clad in black and features the classic SG pickguard on top. The neck is fast and slim, perfect for blazing lead work. It is made of three maple laminates and features a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top (extra jumbo frets, beautiful block inlays). Electronics department is equipped with a pair of Glenn Tipton EMG signature humbuckers (active, of course0 and a basic controls unit 9master volume and a three-way toggle pickup switch). Other premium features on this semi-professional metal axe include a double-locking Kahler tremolo system, LTD tuners and a locking string nut.
